Fishing in Boon Mar Ponds Bangkok is a fantastic fishing experience every angler
passing through Bangkok should experience for the non-stop action of the hard
fighting, tail–walking and acrobatic Barramundi! Even if lure or fly–fishing is not your
usual preferred form of fishing, I defy anyone not to enjoy the kind of action-fishing
that this venue delivers.

If fly–fishing is your favorite form of fishing, there is nowhere in Thailand more
productive than Boon Mar Ponds, a collection of ponds holding large numbers of
different sized Barramundi that just cant seem to resist the fly. Several of the lakes
have been set aside for sport-fishing and only hold fish of 4 kilos and above.
The average size is around 6-7 kilos, but there are some much bigger fish over 10
kilos. Make sure you have lots of backing line on your reel as these fish are very fast,
and before you know it you are 40 meters into your backing! It is also a good idea to
wear gloves to prevent line burn when the fish first take off with the fly on incredible
high speed runs.
Lure fishing is the alternative to fly–fishing, and is just as productive if you use the
right lures. Watch as your hooked fish jumps and tail–walks repeatedly trying to shed
the hook. If screaming reels are your thing, then you’re in the right place!
Please be aware that the fishing is so good at Boon Mar Ponds, that it will probably
spoil you when you return to fishing back home!

Not Included:
Fly–fishing equipment is not provided, so therefore you need to bring along your own.

No deposit is required; just confirm you’re booking by telephone with us 2–3 days
prior to your fishing trip.

Non–fishermen are welcome to join you
