Thumb Knot
Step by Step.
Thread your hook with the line and make a loop so that the hook is suspended from the loop. |

Commence wrapping your left thumb and loop with the tag. | |
Make three wraps in all, working from the base of your thumb toward the thumbnail. |
|
Push the tag back under those three wraps alongside your thumb. Push it all the way back toward the base of your thumb. | |
Secure the tag against your left thumb with your middle finger. Then take the hook loop in your right hand and ease the wraps off your thumb, one at a time, in sequence. |

Close the knot by exerting pressure on the loop against the tag. |
