Spider Hitch
Step by Step.
Having determined the size of your double or end loop, twist in a second loop just above the tag end. |

Wind the double around the thumb of your left hand. |
Make four or five complete wraps. |

Then pass the loop in the double through the second loop. |
Pinching thumb and finger of the left hand firmly together so the loops disengage one at a time, pull gently but firmly on the double until all the loops have slid from your left thumb. |

Tension all four strands equally and your Spider Hitch should look something like this. |
