Homer Rhode Loop
Step by Step.
Tie an overhand knot in your leader and thread the tag through the towing eye of the lure. |
|
Then thread the tag back through the overhand knot forming a loop.
We now have to tie a second knot, and the closer to the lure we tie it, the smaller the final loop will be. Close the loop right up hard on the towing eye of the lure and encircle the main line with the tag. |
|
Encircle the main line with the tag twice and thread the tag through the centre.
Close up the second knot by pulling on the tag. |
|
Now pull on the main line until the two knots slide together, locking the loop open. |
